Several interrelated outputs are being prepared for different audiences based on the findings of the project. These can be divided into three groups:
These various outputs are described below and links to access them will be added as they become available.
Outputs related to social value assessments
These outputs focus on the social values assessments that were completed during the project for a variety of properties in the care of the Trust. The assessments were a key part of the research, providing the evidence which underpins the overarching findings and implications. The assessments also provided the basis for wider discussions about working with the resulting knowledge. There are two outputs being prepared for each assessment:
| Social Values Assessment Reports | The Reports describe the methods, approaches, and findings for each assessment. The findings are illustrated with material from the research activities, and a more detailed statement of social values is included in the Annexes. |
| Assessment ‘Top Trumps’ cards | These 1-page cover sheets are intended to help people to navigate the Reports and consider their wider lessons. They do not duplicate the key findings but summarise the assessment context and identify comparable themes. |

Outputs that focus on overarching findings from across the project
These outputs are intended to support practitioners and organisations that care for heritage places to embed social values in their policies, practices and processes. Links will be added as they are made available.
| Policy Brief | The brief highlights the key recommendations from the project. It is orientated to support senior organisational leadership with strategic decision-making and consistent organisation-wide approaches. |
| Practice Guidance | The guide outlines core principles and offers practical advice (including links to further resources). It is intended to support good practice among those working with assessments and the resulting information. |
| Project Report | The Report summarises the project aims, activities, findings, and implications. It describes the wider context to the research and the processes through which the supporting evidence was developed. |
Articles in academic and practitioner publications
The findings from the research will be translated into articles in both academic journals and practitioner-focused publications. As these are published, details will be added below. You may also want to refer to Readings & Resources.
We are very interested to hear your feedback on working with these outputs in practice. If you have any comments, please do get in touch with a member of the team (see details on Contact page).
